On your usual observation areas and routes, fill in a form even if you observe few or no birds. This information is just as important for the scientific validity of the data.
Click on Submit an Observation then on register. Registration is only done once. The username and password you choose will allow you to submit all your observations.
Select Migration-Wintering or Breeding by clicking on one of the two photos.
Choose the country where you made your observations by clicking on the corresponding flag.
Start typing the name of the observation municipality. When it appears in the dropdown, select it then click Send.
You arrive on the field form — fill it in and validate. You can edit it via the "Edit forms" tab. You no longer need to enter 0 in all the fields.
Check the box before clicking Send.
Paper field forms can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. You can choose between the Migration-Wintering form and the Breeding form.
On the first form, enter your name, address, department and hunting licence number. It is not necessary to repeat them on subsequent forms.
For each outing, note: the observation municipality, the hunting method, your GPS coordinates (latitude-longitude) if available, and the habitat type.
Record the date, the start and end time — essential for calculating the duration and observation effort.
Record the number of birds observed per species as you go or at the end of the outing, avoiding double counts.
Fill in the simplified weather conditions for the outing.
Forms to be returned every month. Send them to your hunters' federation, to ANDCTG or IMPCF by post, or scanned by email to observatoire.migrateurs@gmail.com
